Winter Blessings

Snow is beautiful when it floats down in fluffy slow motions. It is like the Earth is finally taking a breather from all the trouble it is causing. We see the pain in this life and ask why but when is it that we actually take the time to see the stillness and beauty. Today I tried to capture the snowflakes that I appreciate. At some point I would like to photograph human beings in these kinds of conditions but, alas, I must learn how to capture these before I can think of faces. This photograph is a bit gray and gloomy but I guess that is what happens on a cloudy day.
